The Basic Dry Rub for Pork and Chicken

Give a phenomenal twist to your pork and chicken meat with this combination of flavours!

Ingredients for 1 cup:

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • ½ tablespoon Cayenne Pepper

Follow these steps:

Combine all ingredients together in a bowl, stir them and taste a pinch of it to see if you want to add a bit of some other spices.

Transfer the mixture to an airtight serving container. 

You can store it for at least one year if always properly sealed and kept in a cool place.
