1.3.2. If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this in writing and will not charge you for the product or, if already done, we will refund you within 7 working days. This might be because the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for[, because a credit reference we have obtained for you does not meet our minimum requirements], because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product or because we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.

1.3.3. We will assign an order number to your order and tell you what it is when we accept your order. It will help us if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us about your order.

1.3.4. Our website is solely for the promotion of our products in the following countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom. 1.3.9. We may also suspend supply of the products if you do not pay. 1.3.10. Fancy Pepper LLP uses an automatic system of product reviews, which invites users that have placed an order recently to leave a review about the products purchased. This system aims to grant transparency for potential users, by giving customers the possibility to express their thoughts about the bought products. By placing an order, you automatically accept to receive an email asking you to leave a review (few days after the order is confirmed). Obviously it’s not mandatory to leave a review. Fancy Pepper LLP reserves the rights to check and approve/disapprove reviews of products, to avoid that content offensive, racist, pornographic, illegal or somehow inadequate and disrespectful is published on the website.

1.4.1. We believe our prices are fair and reasonable, reflecting the hard work and creativity that goes into the creation of our products, sourcing high-quality ingredients and packaging and the production and distribution of our goods. We also pay fair prices for purchases of our raw ingredients, materials and services, aiming always to share economic benefits equitably through the whole supply chain. We may be able to offer discounts during specific dates or under specific conditions, always and only at our discretion.

1.4.2. “Our Price” can be displayed either in pounds sterling or in Euro. In both cases, the Price shown is inclusive of UK VAT / IT IVA at the appropriate rate. For the moment we are able to accept orders from specific countries only, listed in the Term & Conditions’ chapter 1.3.4. Whether a country is included on our shipping list, or not, is a matter of commerciality for Fancy Pepper LLP and is completely at our discretion.

When we charge your card and payment security.

1.4.3. We take the security of our customers’ payment information very seriously – we use the Braintree online payment system to guarantee this security. Braintree is an online payment system from Paypal that utilises its credit and debit card clearing system. Braintree encrypts stored transaction information, ensuring that it’s not tampered with. Braintree takes responsibility for capturing and storing card details on its secure servers – it always ensures that this information is managed with the very high levels of security you would expect from a major financial services company. No-one at Fancy Pepper LLP sees, or can access, your card details.

1.4.4. Payment for goods is required in advance to enable Fancy Pepper LLP to review orders for potentially fraudulent activity through manually checking the credit process via Braintree, which does now incorporate a short timing delay before Fancy Pepper LLP will start processing an order. Fancy Pepper LLP only charges your credit or debit card at the time of ordering.

1.4.5. Fancy Pepper LLP accepts only online payments through most major credit and debit cards from major financial institutions and payments provided through Paypal accounts.

What we do about mispricings.

1.4.6. Fancy Pepper LLP’ products are agricultural commodities and as a result their underlying prices vary all the time. While we aim to change our prices annually, we reserve the right to change the prices of products at any time without notice.

1.4.7. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the products on our website may, therefore, be mispriced. Rest assured, however, that we verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures.

Availability guide.

1.4.8. We either endeavour to hold sufficient stock or make sure of the availability of all our lines from suppliers to fulfil our expected order book. Since some of our organic spices and products may not be held as packed stock, these may need to be packed specially for your order. This guarantees a high quality and fresh product, but may require a few days for our production team to blend and pack your goods.

1.4.9. We aim for orders to be blended, packed, collected and prepared for dispatch within 5 working days, but it may take up to 21 working days – Fancy Pepper LLP does not work on Saturdays or Sundays or Public Holidays. When we run short of an item because of the harvests & seasons or supplier stock issues or you are placing a large order, we will inform you by e-mail if any items in your order turn out to be unavailable. We will provide you with the estimated time it will take us to receive the out of stock item from the supplier, blend it, pack it and prepare it for dispatch. If we expect to be out of stock for 2 weeks or more, we will give you the option of cancelling your order or backorder, refunding any payments promptly or crediting your next order.

How will it be delivered?

1.4.10. At the moment we are able to offer and dispatch only orders up to 2 kg of spices (other non-organic products like grinders are excluded from the weight count). All parcels destined for an address within served countries (please see chapter 1.3.4) will normally be dispatched by the most cost-efficient method, using either the 1st Class Service from Royal Mail or a third party shipping service at Fancy Pepper LLP solely discretion. The Royal Mail 1st class service is a 2 – 3 working day service, the Third Party Shipping Service may have different options and due dates. Fancy Pepper LLP reserves the right to use whichever is the most cost-effective delivery service in its opinion.

1.4.11. Please note these delivery times are in addition to the packaging time and we aim to have goods to you within maximum 10 working days of ordering, incorporating the 2-day anti-fraud delay.

1.4.12. For deliveries during the week you should consider whether an order can be sent to your work address or whether there is somewhere secure for the delivery to be left (you are responsible for the security of any delivery instructions provided). Should you require a change of delivery address after the parcel has been dispatched, this will incur an additional charge which must be borne by you.

1.4.13. At the moment we are not commercially able to serve deliveries outside of the list of countries specified here at chapter 1.3.4.

How long will it take to arrive?

1.4.14. To find out when you will receive an item, you need to consider the availability of the item you ordered, our standard dispatch time and the country where the parcel needs to be shipped. If an item is available as packed stock, it will normally take 48 hours for those items to be packaged and prepared for dispatch. Standard delivery will be a further 5-10 working days from dispatch. You can always reach out to info@fancypepper.co.uk to ask for further information about your order’s status, we’ll answer as soon as possible with more details.

1.4.15. We use external carriers for deliveries but (while we accept that their service can impact your impression of our service) we cannot always influence the way they work, however much we all wish we could; in particular, smaller packets are usually sent via the Royal Mail and these packets cannot be tracked, because this is not a service offered by the Royal Mail.

1.4.16. From early November to Christmas Day orders may take longer due to increased demand. The last day for Christmas orders in the UK is 14 December (or nearest Friday if 14 December falls on a weekend) in any year. No priority orders will be taken after this cut-off date.

1.4.17. If there are specific events or timing by which products are required, please email or phone us or use the special instructions box and we will do our best to help.

1.4.18. NB: Delivery times to BFPO addresses are dependent on British Forces Post Office schedules.

1.4.19. NBB: All the above delivery times relate to deliveries in the countries specified in chapter 1.3.4.

Additional Note for Covid: despite us doing our best to ensure delivery dates are respected, please note that orders may face delays due to Covid. We will make your orders is delivered as quickly and as safely as possible. For any questions, reach out to us at info@fancypepper.co.uk

You should verify that you have a secure server connection by looking for the locked padlock symbol in the https-prefix in the URL. These online payments’ providers securely control the personal information you provide them. For more information on their security, please visit PayPal and Braintree websites.

3.8.3. To receive Fancy Pepper’s e-mail newsletters, you must positively subscribe to that service.  If you no longer want to receive e-mail newsletters from us, you can unsubscribe when you next receive an e-mail newsletter or request at any time to be unsubscribed by sending an email to info@fancypepper.co.uk.

If you wish to have your details removed, you can email us at info@fancypepper.co.uk and Fancy Pepper LLP will use commercially reasonable efforts functionally to delete the user and his or her personal information from its database; however, it may be impossible to delete a user’s entry without some residual information because of backups and records of deletions.

4.1.1. We accept and understand this is a very tricky area and we try to act responsibly and honestly in everything we do, which includes how we handle customer information provided to Fancy Pepper LLP during your interactions with us. We have prepared the following information to give some background as to what we do. This should be read in conjunction with Fancy Pepper LLP’s “Privacy Policy” and “User’s Agreement”. For further information on the use of “cookies” on the Fancy Pepper LLP website, please refer to Fancy Pepper LLP’s “Cookie Policy“. If you need further details or have any issues, please email us at info@fancypepper.co.uk and we will deal with these quickly and sensitively.

4.1.2. For advice on protecting your privacy when online, please refer to the Information Commisioner’s Office (“ICO”) at ico.gov.uk.

4.2.1. At Fancy Pepper LLP, we collect data relating to our customers during the ordering process. We do need as much information as possible during the ordering stage, including telephone numbers and emails, because this helps with order queries and delivery, because sometimes the address is incomplete or the delivery business cannot find your address or we need to be able to help you in tracking down a parcel that has gone astray.

4.2.2. To obtain the Fancy Pepper LLP’s newsletter, you must actively subscribe to the newsletter through the subscription option on the website. Through the newsletter, Fancy Pepper LLP undertakes direct marketing by electronic mail, which enables us to provide you with information about new products that we have launched, competitions, offers or recipe ideas.

4.2.3. The control of your personal data provided by you when subscribing to the email newsletter is controlled by The Rocket Science Group LLC within the “Mailchimp Platform” (“Mailchimp”). Mailchimp operates our newsletter marketing system under its registration.

4.2.4. However, if you do not want to hear from Fancy Pepper LLP, we are fine with that as well and so we give you several ways to prevent future contacts being made by electronic mail (we do not contact our customers directly by phone, by post or in any other ways save where required to expedite orders during the sales order and delivery phase and to verify customers and so protect Fancy Pepper LLP from fraudulent activity):

a) If you receive a newsletter, but do not wish future contacts to be made, you can then either click on the automated unsubscribe button or email us at info@fancypepper.co.uk and we will immediately expunge your details from the database held at Mailchimp;

b) At any time, you can contact Fancy Pepper LLP by an email sent to info@fancypepper.co.uk and we will immediately expunge your details from the database held at Engage.

4.2.5. With regards to online payments, these are undertaken through Paypal and Braintree, which are online payments businesses that are separate from Fancy Pepper LLP. More information regarding Paypal is available at https://www.paypal.com/uk/home, and more information regarding Braintree is available at https://www.braintreepayments.com. The information that you provide to them is required for credit checking purposes and to determine whether purchases are genuine and not fraudulent, as unfortunately fraudulent purchases are attempted. Paypal and Braintree stores and uses that information within their business and it is managed separately from Fancy Pepper LLP. You should contact them about how they manage their data if it relates to the Paypal and Braintree components of Fancy Pepper LLP’s website.

4.2.6. Fancy Pepper LLP is exempt from registration with the ICO as it is not the data controller in relation to customer data provided. Should you wish to check or alter your personal information held by Mailchimp, you can contact us and we will pass on your request or you can contact them directly or visit their website www.mailchimp.com.
