Spicy & Peppery Sauce

Essential for grill meat or pan-fried steak! Try it also as an overnight marinade!

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g of butter
  • 1 white onion
  • brandy
  • tomato pulp
  • chervil
  • Worcester sauce
  • Cayenne Pepper

Follow these steps:

To prepare the sauce, take a pan, melt the butter and add the onion chopped finely.

As soon as the onion starts to change its color add a glass of brand, stir and let the liquid reduce by half.

Add three tablespoons of tomato pulp and let the mixture simmer for a few minutes.

Finally, add a little chopped chervil, a generous splash of Worcester sauce – according to tastes – and our inevitable Cayenne pepper!

Stir and pour into your gravy boat to serve it.

Finally, you can try also with any other pepper we offer, to give the sauce a different note and flavour.
