Quick Goat Cheese

Quick Goat Cheese

A quick and delicious entree that everyone loves!

Ingredients for 6-to-8 appetizer servings:

  • 2 tablespoons cracked black pepper
  • 1 (11-ounce) goat cheese log
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Garnish: fresh rosemary sprigs

Follow these steps:

Super-easy. You can find round-shaped goat cheese at most of the supermarkets.

To give it an amazing twist, just sprinkle pepper on a dish with some drops of olive oil.

Roll goat cheese log over pepper to coat. Drizzle with some extra olive oil and balsamic vinegar of Modena (if you like it).

You can either cut in small wheels or serve immediately the whole form. Serve with toasted bread slices. Garnish with rosemary if desired.

Fancy hint:

Goat cheese has a strong taste, so try it with some strong black pepper-like the Black Tellicherry, or the Assam pepper, or even the Ethiopian Timiz Pepper.

If you like it a bit spicy, you can try it with the Red Kampot pepper or the Cayenne pepper.
